Is 375, 225, 75, -75 a sequence arithmetic

In order to have an arithmetic sequence, the difference between two consecutive numbers must be the same for the whole sequence.

So let's check if this is true for the given sequence:


\begin{gathered} 225-375=-150 \\ 75-225=-150 \\ -75-75=-150 \end{gathered}

The difference is always equal to -150, therefore the sequence is an arithmetic sequence, with a common difference of d = -150.
