Then the system becomes,

Multiply second equation with 2 and subtract with first equation

`\begin{gathered} 4x+8y=61 \\ 4x+6y=48 \\ 2y=13 \\ y=(13)/(2) \end{gathered}`

Then x becomes, 4x+52=61

`x=(9)/(4)`

Hence the price of each movie is $9/4 and price of each video game is $13/2.
