Total amount spend = $18

Charge of a cupcake = $2

Charge of a brownie = $1

He wants to buy at least 7 for good meal

Let x be the number of cupckaes and y be the number of brownie

Since, the total number of cupcakes & brownie =7

thus,

Number of Brownie + Number of cupcakes ≤7

Inequality will be : y + x ≥ 7

x + y ≥ 7

The cost of one brownie is $1, so the cost of y brownie = $1y

The cost of one cupcake is $2, so the cost of x cupcake = $2x

Since he can spend only $18

So, Cost of y brownie + Cost of x cupcake ≥ 18

Inequality will be : 1y + 2x ≤ 18

2x + y ≤ 18

Answer : A)
