Start by making the mixed numbers into fractions using that:

A(b)/(c)=((A\cdot c)+b)/(c)

According to this:

222(3)/(4)=((222\cdot4)+3)/(4)=(888+3)/(4)=(891)/(4)
3(3)/(8)=((8\cdot3)+3)/(8)=(24+3)/(8)=(27)/(8)

To find the rate we divide the distance over the time

((891)/(4))/((27)/(8))=(891\cdot8)/(27\cdot4)=(7128)/(108)=(66mi)/(h)

The rate idicates that joey drives 66 miles in one hour.
