Solution

Step by Step Calculation:

A card is drawn at random from a pack of 52 playing cards.

probability = number of required outcome/ number of possible outcome

Probability of getting a king is because there are total 4 Kings in a deck

In a standard deck of 52 playing cards, the probability of drawing a heart is 13/52

There are thirteen hearts, and only one of them is a king.

Hence the probability that the card is a heart =

Pr(K|heart)=Pr(K\cap HEART)=(1)/(52)

Therefore the the probability the card is a king and the card is a heart = 1/52
