Consider how you would solve this system by substitution: y = 2.2 - 4 x + 2y = 101. 2x - 4 = 102. x + 2x - 4 = 103. x + 2(2x - 4) = 10

The answer is the last option x + 2(2x -4) = 10

Because in this option the value of y (first equation) is used in the second equation to get an equation that only has x as a variable.
