The total number of employees are 13.

Out of the 13 employees, there are 5 women.

Thus, number of men is:

13-5=8

The probability of an event, E, is:

Pr(E)=\frac{number\text{ of favourable outcome}}{\text{Total number of outcome}}

Thus, the probability that a male will be chosen for overtime is:

Pr(a\text{ male chosen for overtime)=}\frac{number\text{ of male employ}ees}{\text{Total number of employe}es}

Hence,

Pr(a\text{ male chosen for overtime)=}(8)/(13)=0.615
