what will the temperature be in degrees Fahrenheit when it is 40° outside use the formula f equals (9 C / 5) + 32

To convert temperature from C to F we will use the formula (that you have also given).


f\text{ = }(9C)/(5)+32

here C = 40, so we have to plug it in the formula, and we will get the answer.


f\text{ = }(9(40))/(5)+32=104

There you have it, that is the answer!
