Given: the shape of a cylinder

As shown: diameter = d = 12 cm

So, the radius = r = d/2 = 12/2 = 6 cm

Height = h = 5 cm

The volume of the cylinder will be:

V=\pi\cdot r^2\cdot h=3.14\cdot6^2\cdot5=3.14\cdot36\cdot5=565.2\operatorname{cm}^3

The surface area of the cylinder will be:

\begin{gathered} SA=2\pi r^2+2\pi rh=2\cdot3.14\cdot6^2+2\cdot3.14\cdot6\cdot5 \\ SA=226.08+188.4=414.48\operatorname{cm}^2 \end{gathered}

So, the asnwer will be:

\begin{gathered} V=565.2\operatorname{cm}^3 \\ \\ SA=414.48\operatorname{cm}^2 \end{gathered}
