A)

The 1th quadrant is the one where both x and y coordinates are positive. In the 2th quadrant x coordinate is negative while y is positive. In the 3th quadrant, both x and y coordinates are negative. And the the 4th x coordinate is positive while y is negative.

B)

Based on the rules stated in part A, we can consider (-1,1) as an ordered pair located in quadrant 2.

C)

(0,4) is not located in any quadrant since x = 0, which means that x isn't either negative or positive. It is located at the y-axis

D)

The slope-intercept form is a form of algebraically represent a line expliciting its slope a and its intercept b:


y=ax+b

E)

There is three ways by which we can graph a linear equation:

1) Finding any two points from the line

2) Fiding the slope and the y-intercept

3) Finding y and x intercepts
