Given:

Hypotenuse = x

Angle = 30

Base = sqr root 3

Find -: The value of "x" and "y" is:

Sol:

Use trigonometric property then:

\cos\theta=\frac{\text{ Base}}{\text{ Hypotenuse}}

\begin{gathered} \cos30=(√(3))/(x) \\ \\ (√(3))/(2)=(√(3))/(x) \\ \\ x=(2√(3))/(√(3)) \\ \\ x=2 \end{gathered}

For the value of "y" is:

\begin{gathered} \sin\theta=\frac{\text{ Perpendicular}}{\text{ Hypotenuse }} \\ \\ \sin30=(y)/(x) \\ \\ (1)/(2)=(y)/(2) \\ \\ y=(2)/(2) \\ \\ y=1 \end{gathered}

So the value of y is 1
