There are 5 oranges and 11 strawberries for 4 person,

then for 1 person,

(5)/(4)\text{ and }(11)/(4)
1.25\text{ oranges and }2.75\text{ strawberries}

Then for 2 people,

1.25*2\text{ and 2.75}*2
2.5\text{ oranges and }5.5\text{ strawberries}

Hence for 2 people the fruit salad receipe needs 2.5 oranges and 5.5 strawberries.
