The area of a rectangle is calculated using the formula:

A=lw

where l and w are the side lengths.

From the image, we have the following side lengths:

\begin{gathered} l=x^(14) \\ w=x^7 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the area of the rectangle will be:

A=x^(14)* x^7

Applying the exponent rule:

a^b\cdot \:a^c=a^(b+c)

Therefore, the area will be:

\begin{gathered} A=x^(14+7) \\ A=x^(21) \end{gathered}

The SECOND OPTION is correct.
