The coordinates of the image after dilation is A' (-4,4)

B' (-4,-4)

C' (4,-4)

When we dilate, we are simply increasing the dimensions of the original shape by the given scale factor

To do this however, we need to identify the vertices of the old triangle

The vertices in this case are simply the coordinates of each vertice

Let us label the vertices as A,B and C

A is (-1,1)

B is (-1,-1)

C is (1,-1)

To dilate, we simply multiply each coordinate by 4

Thus, we have

A' (-4,4)

B' (-4,-4)

C' (4,-4)

So to complete the image, we simply proceed to locate these points on the coordinate plane and join them together
