Given the line y = (4/5)x - 1

The general form of the required line is y = mx + c

Where m is the slope and c is constant

the required line is parallel to the given line

So, the slope of the required line is equal to the given line

the slope of the given line = 4/5

so, m = 4/5

So,

the required line y = (4/5) x + c

To find c substitute with the point (0,6)

So, at x = 0 , y = 6

6 = (4/5) * 0 + c

c = 6

so, the required line is y = (4/5) x + 6
