In which part of the life course — childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, or the older years-do Americans on average have the most wealth and power? Give two reasons why this is so.

Answer: middle adulthood

Explanation: In middle adulthood the brain is fully formed plus most famous people got famous in late adulthood (Like Elon Musk) This is an obvious answer. In early adulthood people are just getting settled and most don't even know what to do with their lives. And in childhood/adolescence we are far to young to understand everything. In the older years though people don't work as much, that is the time to live peacefully the rest of your life. As you can see much more power and money comes out of middle adulthood when you already got a job and paid off loans. Plus you can only be president at 35 (USA) so more power comes later in age.
