Hi, I am a non native english speaker, I wanted to verify my english homework in this space. Thank you for your help

1) make 5 sentences, using the verb to be in contrast with the simple past tense



*Affirmative: we were at the movies, when you called

*Negative: We weren't at the movies, when you called



*Affirmative: I was at school, when my friend came

*Negative: I wasn't at school, when my friend came



*Affirmative: The cat was on the bed when the bell rang

*Negative: The cat wasn't on the bed, when the bell rang



*Affirmative: We were at the park, when we met Anna

*Negative: We weren't at the park, when we met Anna



*Affirmative: They were in Madrid, when my mom arrived to Venezuela
