Answer:

x-intercept: 1

y-intercept = 4

Explanation:

The x-intercept is the value of x where the line crosses the x-axis. Or, in other words the value of x when y = 0

Plugging y = 0 into the equation gives
4x + 0 =4

4x = 4

x = 1

The y-intercept is the value of y where the line crosses the y-axis. Or, in other words the value of y when x = 0

Plugging x = 0 into the equation gives:

4(0) + y = 4

0 + y = 4

y = 4

Hence the x and y intercepts are 1 and 4 respectively

The points corresponding to these intercepts are:
(1, 0) and (0,4)
