The ducks and horses have 64 legs altogether.
How many horses are there?

Explanation:

x ducks

19-x horses

2x+4(19-x)=64

2x+76-4x=64

4x-2x=76-64

2x=12

x=6 ducks

19-x = horses

19-6=13 horses
