Let a = circumfrence of circle a

b = circumfrence of circle b

a = 3b

circumference = 2πr

diameter = 27

radius = 27/2 (radius is half of the diameter)

a = 2π(27/2)

a = 27π

Plug in the new a

27π = 3b

Divide both sides by 3

27π/3 = 3b/3

b = 9π
