5x - 5 < -2

In order to determine which integer values of x that satisfy the previous inequality, are in the interval [-1,5], you have solve the inequality for x. You proceed as follow:

5x - 5 < -2 add 5 both sides

5x < -2 + 5

5x < 3 divide by 5 both sides
