Sheldon needs to buy 8 gallons of ice cream, $5.50 for 1 pint and $410.50 for 1 quart. 2.75 for 1 pint ans 6.50 for 1 gallon

hello

to solve this problem, we just need to find the better deal between cold farm pint and quarts measurement.

1 pint of cold farm cost $5.50

how much will 64 pint cost

\begin{gathered} 1\text{ pint = \$5.50} \\ 64\text{ pint = x } \\ \text{cross multiply and solve for x} \\ 1* x=5.50*64 \\ x=\text{ \$352} \end{gathered}

64 pints of cold farm ice cream would cost $352.

now we calculate the cost in quarts

1 quart of ice cream cost $10.50

32 quarts will cost x

undefined
