Using the equation y= mx + b with the point (2,3) and slope m=4 , we have:

y= 4x + b

Replacing x=2 and y=3 in the equation, we have

3 = 4*2 + b

3 - 4*2 = b Isolating b

3-8 = b = -5

The final equation would be:

y = 4x - 5
