example 4 and 6

for example

if we have 4 men and 6 women

we can say the ratio of men to women is 4 to 6

that is 4 : 6

and ratio can also means division

for 4 and 6

= 4 / 6

= 2 / 3

= 2 : 3

that is, for every 2 men we have 3 women
