The line is given ith two points, A (4, 5) and B (9, 1)

The slope is calculated as follows;

\begin{gathered} m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ m=(1-5)/(9-4) \\ m=(-4)/(5) \\ m=-(4)/(5) \end{gathered}

The slope of the line that passes through the given points is -4/5
