The main layers of the atmosphere are, from Earth to out:

-Troposphere: it has a surface of 10-15 km approximately of altitude approximately, and it has the 75% of gases that compose the atmosphere. In this layer, the temperature decreases with altitude.

-Stratosphere: it extends from the tropopause to the stratopause. It has two subdivisions, the inferior stratosphere in which the temperature stays steady, and the superior stratosphere in which the temperature increases with altitude due to the presence of ozone which can absorb UV radiations.

-Mesosphere: here the temperature decreases with altitude until 85° C approximately.

-Thermosphere or ionosphere: the temperature increases with altitude reaching 1500° C because of UV radiation from the sun.
