A car driving up a hill is gaining potential energy, as it goes up.

PE = m*g*h

where;

m= mass

g = acceleration due to gravity

h= height

Also, it has kinetic energy:

KE= 1/2 *m* v^2

v= velocity

C. both kinetic and potential
