The perimeter of an image is given by the sum of all the sides' length.

A regular pentagon has 5 sides with the same length, therefore its perimeter is given by 5 times the length of its side.

If the side of the regular pentagon is 1/4 meters, its perimeter is given by:

\begin{gathered} P=5\cdot s \\ P=5\cdot(1)/(4) \\ P=(5)/(4)\text{ meters} \end{gathered}

So the perimeter of the pentagon is 5/4 meters.
