step 1

Find out the equation of the function g(x)

we have

x [ -2,-1,0,1,2 ] g(x) [ 1,,3,5,7,9]

Find out the slope

we take the points (-2,1) and (0,5)

m=(5-1)/(0+2)

m=4/2

m=2

The linear equation is

g(x)=2x+5

step 2

we have the system

g(x)=2x+5

f(x) = 2x^2 + x + 4

Using a graphing tool

The solution of the system is the intersection point of both graphs

The solutions are (-0.5,4) and (1,7)

therefore

The answer is (1,7)
