Applying Pythagoras theorem,


\begin{gathered} 43^2=30^2+x^2 \\ 1849=900+x^2 \\ x^2=1849-900 \\ x^2=949 \\ x=\sqrt[]{949} \\ x=30.8m \end{gathered}
