Question:

Solution:

According to the graph, the point (x,y) = (x,f(x)) =(0,4) belongs to the graph of the given function. Thus,

f(0)=\text{ 4}

On the other hand, notice that the points (x,f(x))=(x,-1), has two possible values for x:

(x,-1)=(-2,-1)

and

(x,-1)=(2,-1)

so that, we can conclude that the correct answers are:

f(0)=\text{ 4}

f(2)=-1
