We have the following:

mechanic A:


A=20\cdot n

mechanic B:


B=15\cdot n+50

now,


A>B

replacing:


\begin{gathered} 20\cdot n>15\cdot n+50 \\ 20n-15n>50 \\ 5n>50 \\ n>(50)/(5) \\ n>10 \end{gathered}

therefore, after 10 hours the valuse for B is less
