According to the given data we have the following expression:

-4(-1-10n)-(n-2)

So, to simplify the following expression we would make the following steps:

1. We would have to expand -4(-1-10n) by applying the distributive law

distributive law

a\mleft(b-c\mright)=ab-ac

Hence, -4(-1-10n)=4 + 40n

So, 4 + 40n -(n-2)

Then:

With -(n-2) we would have to distribute parentheses.

=-\mleft(n\mright)-\mleft(-2\mright)
=-n+2

So, finally we would have to simplify 4 + 40n - n+2

We would have to add similar elements and similar numbers, so the simplified expression would be:

6 + 39n
