Answer: -98.

For x=5,

`\begin{gathered} 2(x^2+6)+3(x-1)=2(5^2+6)+3(5-1) \\ =2(25+6)+3(4) \\ =2(31)+12 \\ =62+12 \\ =74 \end{gathered}`
