\because3h-2(4h-5)=10-5h

At first, we will simplify the left side by multiplying the bracket by -2

\because-2(4h-5)=-2(4h)-2(-5)=-8h+10

Substitute -8h + 10 in the equation

\therefore3h-8h+10=10-5h

Now we will add the like terms on the left side

\begin{gathered} \because(3h-8h)+10=10-5h \\ \therefore-5h+10=10-5h \end{gathered}

Add 5h to both sides

\begin{gathered} \because-5h+5h+10=10-5h+5h \\ \therefore0+10=10+0 \\ \therefore10=10 \end{gathered}

Look at the two sides, they have the same terms

That means you can use any value for h

The equation has many solutions
