Answer:

Explanation:

a) input is 2

2 * 3/4 = 6/4

(6/4) / (2/3) = 18/8 or 2.25

b) output is 1/2 (this time we go backwards)

if it is multiply we divide and if it is divide we multiply

1/2 * (2/3) = 2/6 (it said divide by 2/3 so we multiply)

(2/6) / (3/4) = 8/18 or 4/9 (it said multiply by 3/4 so we divide)

Answer:

Explanation:

( a ). If input is 2

2 ×
(3)/(4) ÷
(2)/(3) =
(3)/(2) ×
(3)/(2) =
(9)/(4) = 2.25

If input is 2, then output is
2(1)/(4)

( b ). If output is 1/2

x ×
(3)/(4) ÷
(2)/(3) =
(1)/(2)

(9)/(8) x =
(1)/(2)

x =
(1)/(2) ÷
(9)/(8) =
(4)/(9)

If output is
(1)/(2) , then input is
(4)/(9)
