Given:

The population of Greens County is,

P=2.4*10^6

The population of Brownsville is

p=800,000

Now, we will find how many times larger is the poulation of Greens County's than Brownsville's.

For that the ratio of the poulations is to be taken.

\begin{gathered} (P)/(p)=(2.4*10^6)/(800000) \\ (P)/(p)=(2.4*1000000)/(800000) \\ (P)/(p)=(2400000)/(800000) \\ (P)/(p)=3 \end{gathered}

Therefore,

P=3p

Hence, the poulation of Greens County's is 3 times larger than Brownsville's.

Answer: 3
