The y-value of this minimum

when x=4

We need to substitute to the polynomial equation


\begin{gathered} y=2x^2-16x+30 \\ \text{Let substitute for x } \\ y=2(4)^2-16(4)\text{ +30} \\ y=2(16)-64+30 \\ y=32-64+30 \\ y=-2 \end{gathered}

The y-value of this minimum is -2
