How do you convert 10x-5y=20 into slope intercept form and identify the slope and y- intercept?

The slope intercept form of an equation has the next general form:


y=mx+b

You can identify the slope m in this form as the value next to the x

And the y- intercept (the point where x=0) as the b, with coordinates (0,b)

As you have the equation:


10x-5y=20

You can convert it by clearing the y, as follow:

You organize it and get the slope intercept form:
