The equation is,


y=2.6(0.9)^x

The given equation is in form of ab^x.

On comparing the given equation with this equation, we get,


\begin{gathered} a=2.6 \\ b=0.9 \end{gathered}

The conversion of the equation in form e is,


y=ae^{(\ln \text{ b)x}}

Substituting the value of a and b in the equation then,


y=2.6e^((\ln 0.9)x)

Hence, the equation y in form of e is y=2.6e^((ln 0.9)x) or y=2.6e^(-0.105x).
