The collars come in a choice of nine different colors. step 1: how many selections of collars for the three dogs are possible if repetition of colors are allowed?

ANSWER

Number of selection possible = 729

Number of dog =3

Number of colors he wants to buy for each dog = 9

If repetition of colors are allowed, the number of selection for the three dogs

= 9³ = 729
