I think the value of X means something that has to do with multiplication and addition, how are you think this is that multiplication for example 2×1 = 2 that means you’re adding 1 two times or 2 one time which is just repeated addition and if you turn the X a little bit it turned into a Edition symbol it’s the same just like subtraction and division when you divide it’s just repeated subtraction, I hope that answers your question
