We have the following equation

(1)/(4)\cdot(28d+20)=d+11

Steps

1. Expand

\begin{gathered} (1)/(4)\cdot28d+(1)/(4)\cdot20=d+11 \\ 7d+5=d+11 \end{gathered}

2. substract 5 from both sides

7d+5-5=d+11-5

3. simplify

7d=d+6

4. substract d from both sides

7d-d=d+6-d

5. simplify

6d=6

6. divide by 6 and simplify

\begin{gathered} (6d)/(6)=(6)/(6) \\ d=1 \end{gathered}

Thus, we can see that d = 1
