According to the given graph, the intervals where the function increases are


(-\infty,-3\rbrack\cup\left\lbrack -5,3\right\rbrack

Because inside these intervales the y-values increase as x-values increase.

On the other hand, the decreasing intervals are


(-3,-5)\cup(3,+\infty)

Since y-values decrease while x-values increase.
