Given:

The length of the cuboid is l=9ft.

The breadth of the cuboid is b=2ft.

The height of the cuboid is h=2ft.

To find the lateral and total surface area:

(i) The formula of the lateral surface area cuboid is,

\begin{gathered} \text{LSA}=2(bh+lh) \\ =2\lbrack2*2+9*2\rbrack \\ =2\lbrack4+18\rbrack \\ =44ft^2 \end{gathered}

Thus, the lateral surface area is 44 square feet.

(ii) The formula of the total surface area of a cuboid is,

\begin{gathered} T\text{SA}=2(lb+bh+lh) \\ =2\lbrack9*2+2*2+9*2\rbrack \\ =2\lbrack18+4+18\rbrack \\ =2(40) \\ =80ft^2 \end{gathered}

Thus, the lateral surface area is 80 square feet.
