The area of shaded region is determined by difference of area of circle and area of sector.

First determine the area of circle is

A=\Pi* r^2^{}

The radius of circle is given as,

r=11.1\text{ m.}

Substitute the value of radius in area of circle,

A_1=\text{ 3.14}*(11.1)^2
A_1=386.88m^2

Similarly find the area of sector,

A_2=(\theta)/(360^(\circ))*\Pi* r^2

The angle given is,

\theta=130^(\circ)

Substitute the value,

A_2=\frac{130^(\circ)}{360^{\circ^{}}}*3.14*11.1^2
A_2=0.3611*386.88
A_2=139.706m^2

The shaded area is determined as,

A=A_1-A_2
A=386.88-139.706

Thus the area of shaded region is determined as,

A=247.173m^2
