1) Given that a tennis ball has a diameter of about 3", then the Volume of the Cylinder has to share at least the same diameter.

2) So now, we can write out the following formula for the Volume of that cylindrical container:


\begin{gathered} V=\pi r^2h \\ V=\pi(1.5)^2(9) \\ V=20.25\pi\:in³ \end{gathered}
