The standard form a quadratic function is given by:

y=ax^2+bx+c

then, we need to expand the parenthesis. This can be give as

(x+4)^2=x^2+8x+16

By substituting this result into our expression, we have

y=-2(x^2+8x+16)+2

By distributing the parenthesis, we have

y=-2x^2-16x-32+2

then, the answer is

y=-2x^2-16x-30
