(4r^4s^(-2))(-3rs^(-3))(rs)

the whole expression is a multiplication

we must group what we can multiply

(4*-3)(r^4* r* r)(s^(-2)* s^(-3)* s)

when multiply equal terms the exponents are added

so

(-12)(r^(4+1+1))(s^(-2+(-3)+1))

do the sum and the final expression is

-12r^6s^(-4)
