Given the equation

f(x)=-|x-2|

We can first get the x and y-intercepts

The x-intercept is obtained by making f(0), so we will have:

(2,0)

The y-intercept is obtained by substituting x=0, so we will have

(0,-2)

To get the other points on the graph, we can use the points

\begin{gathered} (6,-4) \\ (8,-6) \end{gathered}

The graph of the function can be obtained as follow

Use the ray tool to graph f(x)=−|x−2| .First plot the endpoint of the ray, then plot-example-1
